About these terms
These terms apply to every order you place with us. Please read them with our Shipping policy, Refund policy and Privacy policy.
We sell to consumers in the UK. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.
Your order and when we accept it
- We take payment when you place your order.
- We then email you to say we've received your order. That email does not mean we have accepted it.
- We accept your order when we email you to say it has been dispatched. That is when the contract between us is made.
- We may not be able to accept your order, for example if the item has sold out at our supplier or there is an obvious mistake in the price or description. If so, we'll tell you and refund you in full.
Prices and payment
- All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT.
- You pay the price shown when you place your order. Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay.
- Multi-buy deals are added automatically at checkout.
- If a price is clearly wrong because of a mistake, we'll contact you before we dispatch. You can then go ahead at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
The product
- We describe each product as accurately as we can.
- Some product photos are digitally created. The product page says which photos show the real product.
- Colours can look a little different on different screens.
Delivery
We deliver to UK addresses only. Delivery times and charges are in our Shipping policy.
The item is our responsibility until it is delivered to you, or to someone you have named to receive it.
If we don't deliver within the time we told you, contact us and we'll agree a new date with you. If we miss that date too, you can cancel for a full refund.
Changing your mind
You have 14 days from the day you receive your order to cancel for any reason. You pay the return postage. Our Refund policy explains how.
Faulty goods and your rights
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If they are not:
- within 30 days of delivery, you can reject them for a full refund;
- after 30 days, you can ask for a repair or replacement, and if that doesn't fix the problem, you can have a refund or a price reduction;
- within 6 months of delivery, we will treat a fault as having been there when you received the item, unless we can show it wasn't.
Email us with your order number. A photo or short video helps us sort it quickly. You don't pay to send back a faulty item.
Our responsibility to you
If we break these terms or fail to use reasonable care and skill, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that was a foreseeable result. Loss is foreseeable if it was obvious it would happen, or if we both knew it might happen when the contract was made.
We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable. We sell for private use only, so we are not responsible for any loss of profit, business or business opportunity.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breaking your legal rights as a consumer, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Events outside our control
If something outside our control delays your order, such as a courier or customs disruption, we'll tell you as soon as we can and do what we can to reduce the delay. If the delay is long, you can cancel and get a full refund for anything you haven't received.
Complaints
If something isn't right, please email us first at information@shopadoriauk.com. We reply within 2 working days (Monday to Friday, not bank holidays) and we'll try to put it right.
Law and courts
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in the courts where you live.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are the ones on this page when you placed it.
